New Year, New Fun!
Filed under: career craftWant a fun way to get some more special skills for your resume? Check out your local night school or community centre leisure guide for an inexpensive way to try out new activities that might just come in handy someday.
From Ballroom to belly dancing, from skating to fencing – classes on a wide range of activities are offered most sessions lasting 8 to 12 weeks. Most classes begin within the next 2 weeks so move quickly so as not to be disappointed!
You just never know when that new skill will set you apart at an audition but at the very least it will give you a unique, interesting and (non-acting-related!) answer to the perennial audition question “So what have you been up to lately?”
